Great product but not for the novice.

By: on 2 August 2018
The HT801 is a solid product which works reliably. The unit is versatile and highly configurable ... perhaps a bit too much so as the setup can be quite complex and would probably baffle the novice. Our unit came with zero instructions which didn't help! I imagine many inexperience users would need to speak with their ISP to get this unit up and running. Fortunately Google and my background as a network administrator came to the rescue and I had our unit configured and working in about 20 minutes. Many routers these days do not come with built-in VOIP and this product is the answer if you want to continue using your existing analogue phone handsets.
