Snom D8C Color Expansion Module
The Snom D8C is an expansion module designed for all D8xx series phones, offering a large, high-resolution color display with a clear, intuitive user interface. Connected via USB with plug-and-play functionality, it expands the capabilities of the base phone by adding 20 physical (and 60 virtual) programmable multi-colored LED function keys, enabling quick status monitoring of colleagues and efficient call handling. For instance, the LEDs can indicate when a colleague is busy or unavailable by lighting up in red or yellow. Up to three D8C modules can be connected in series for an even more comprehensive view. Configuration is simple, either through the phone system or the Snom web interface, and users can fully customize the display with different styles, symbols, and even personalized backgrounds.
