The MikroTik netPower Lite 8P combines eight Gigabit Ethernet ports with 802.3af/at PoE output, two 10G SFP+ uplinks and an integrated UPS controller with a smart battery charger. It runs SwOS Lite and is designed for CCTV, wireless backhaul and other installations that need battery-backed PoE.
A power supply is not included. UPS operation requires an external 24 V nominal battery.
The switch offers a 120W PoE output budget. Connect an external 24 V nominal battery for backup power; the charger supports flooded, AGM and gel lead-acid batteries, plus LiFePO4 packs with a suitable BMS. When incoming power is limited, charging slows first to prioritise connected PoE devices.
The charger supports 0.21.6 A charging current and a 2031.7 V charging range. An included temperature sensor adjusts lead-acid charging voltage and prevents charging outside the permitted temperature range. A two-wire alarm contact can report tampering through SwOS Lite and SNMP.
The IP54 enclosure is specified for tested ambient temperatures from -40°C to 70°C. The main DC input accepts 2457 V through a two-pin terminal; the battery input range is 2230 V.
