480Gbps Switching capacity with 240Gbps total non-blocking throughput
L3 Lite Static routing, IP settings, DHCP server, SNTP and advanced VLAN functions
MC-LAG Network redundancy and high availability across multiple switches

High-Density 10GbE Multi-Gigabit Networking

Connect more high-speed network devices through twenty-four copper Ethernet ports.

The QSW-M3224-24T provides twenty-four 10GbE BASE-T RJ45 ports and supports 10GBASE-T and Multi-Gigabit NBASE-T technologies. Each port can connect at 10G, 5G, 2.5G, 1G or 100M to accommodate network devices operating at different speeds.

With a 480Gbps switching capacity and 240Gbps total non-blocking throughput, the switch can connect or uplink servers, switches, 10GbE NAS systems, workstations, AV-over-IP devices and SNMP-compliant equipment within a flexible high-speed topology.

L3 Lite Routing and Enterprise Network Segmentation

Manage communication between network segments while simplifying larger network environments.

01

Static IP Routing

Forwards packets through IP addresses to enable communication between devices in different network segments and subnets.

02

IP and DHCP Services

Provides IPv4, IPv6 and DNS settings together with DHCP server and SNTP functions.

03

Advanced VLAN Management

Supports granular control over segmented enterprise networks to simplify network organisation and management.

High Availability and Connection Redundancy

Protect important network connections against individual link failures.

04

MC-LAG

Multi-chassis Link Aggregation Group combines connections between switches into a logical link that can continue operating if one or more physical links fail.

05

LACP

Link Aggregation Control Protocol combines multiple network connections to increase throughput and protect against connection failure. Two ports can provide up to 20Gbps bandwidth.

06

RSTP

Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol helps maintain a loop-free Ethernet topology by blocking or forwarding traffic as required.

AV-over-IP and Time-Sensitive Network Management

Configure traffic priority and multicast behaviour for high-resolution audiovisual environments.

The AV-over-IP Wizard guides administrators through configuring IGMP Snooping and VLAN settings for applications such as video walls and large outdoor display walls. QoS priority management supports low-latency delivery of critical audiovisual traffic.

Precision Time Protocol complies with ITU-T G.8273.3 Class A. The QSW-M3224-24T forwards PTP packets while correcting internal delays, with maximum time error usually limited to 100ns.

Bandwidth and Packet Control

Allocate bandwidth, prioritise critical traffic and reduce unnecessary multicast transmission.

07

Quality of Service

QoS provides queue scheduling and strict priority management to improve network performance and support real-time traffic delivery.

08

IGMP Snooping

Helps minimise bandwidth loss and prevent unnecessary network information from being distributed to unintended ports.

09

Flow Control

Balances traffic between senders and receivers to help avoid network congestion and packet loss.

Security, Monitoring and Troubleshooting

Control network access and centrally monitor connected devices.

10

Access Control Lists

ACL filters incoming and outgoing packet data through custom rules. ACL Mirroring can copy matching traffic to designated monitoring or analysis devices.

11

SNMP Management

Supports central and secure management of compatible network devices including NAS, routers, switches, workstations, modems, IP phones and IP cameras.

12

LLDP

Allows devices to advertise information to directly connected peers and neighbours to simplify network identification and troubleshooting.

QSS Pro Web-Based Management

Configure Layer 3 Lite and Layer 2 functions through an easy-to-use web interface.

The QSW-M3224-24T uses QNAP Switch System Pro, or QSS Pro. Its web interface provides an overview dashboard, port management, a guided setup process, status charts and online firmware checking and updates.

Qfinder Pro login is supported for convenient access to the switch management interface.

AMIZcloud Centralised Switch Monitoring

Monitor multiple switches distributed across different locations.

The AMIZcloud management platform provides cloud-based access to switch information without requiring additional management hardware or software. Administrators can monitor switches across multiple locations and remotely investigate network issues.

Supported Enterprise Applications

Designed for high-speed and high-density network environments.

Storage and Servers

Connect 10GbE NAS systems, servers, switches and computers operating at supported Multi-Gigabit speeds.

AI, Virtualisation and Video Editing

Supports the high-performance network transmission requirements of AI, multimedia, video editing and virtualisation applications.

AV-over-IP

Configure IGMP Snooping, VLAN and QoS for video walls, large outdoor display walls and other AV-over-IP deployments.
