Answer-first buying guidance

Which Ubiquiti specifications should I compare first?

Start with the specification that limits the deployment. For gateways this is often routing throughput or capacity; for switches it is port and PoE requirements; for WiFi it is radio capability and coverage; and for cameras or access control it is installation, recording and credential requirements.

Cloud Gateways

Review WAN interfaces, IDS/IPS throughput, managed devices, supported applications, storage and redundancy.

UniFi Switches

Review port count and speed, PoE standards, total PoE availability, uplinks, Layer 3 functions and form factor.

WiFi Access Points

Review WiFi generation, 6 GHz support, spatial streams, uplink speed, client capacity, mounting and weather protection.

Protect Cameras

Review resolution, lens and field of view, night vision, smart detections, audio, power and recorder compatibility.

UniFi Access

Review reader or hub role, supported doors, credential methods, intercom features, PoE and environmental suitability.

Before selecting SKUs

Compare products that perform the same job

A side-by-side table is most useful after you have identified the correct product type. Do not compare a gateway with an access point or a camera with a recorder simply because their model numbers look similar.

Ubiquiti comparison questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about selecting models, reading the tables, sharing results and checking DeviceDeal product listings.

How do I compare Ubiquiti UniFi products on this page?

Choose one of the five product categories, select two or more SKU cards, then review the specification columns that appear in the table. Selected cards remain highlighted until you clear them.

Can I compare products from different UniFi categories in one table?

No. Gateways, switches, WiFi access points, cameras and access-control products use different technical fields, so each category has its own comparison table. You may keep selections in more than one category and move between them.

How many products should I compare at once?

Two to four products normally provide the clearest comparison, especially on a phone or tablet. The tool does not impose a strict selection limit when a broader comparison is required.

What does the Differences only option do?

It hides rows where every selected product shows the same value. Rows with different values, including a value shown for one product and no listed value for another, remain visible.

What does Hide empty rows do?

It removes rows where all selected products show an empty value or an em dash. It does not alter the underlying comparison data.

What does an em dash mean in the comparison table?

An em dash means the existing comparison dataset does not provide a value for that product and specification, or that the field may not apply. Confirm critical details on the linked DeviceDeal product page or with the DeviceDeal team.

Are the product images hosted by DeviceDeal?

Yes. The redesigned product cards use DeviceDeal catalogue image URLs from the supplied product export wherever an exact or current variant match was available. A clean fallback is shown if a legacy image cannot be loaded.

Does this comparison tool show current pricing or stock availability?

No. Prices and stock can change and are not included in the comparison tables. Open the DeviceDeal product listing for current ordering information, or contact DeviceDeal when a model does not have an active listing.

Why can a recorder or console appear in more than one category?

Some UniFi consoles and recorders are relevant to both Protect and Access deployments. They may therefore appear in more than one category so their category-specific fields can be reviewed in the appropriate table.

Can I share a comparison with someone else?

Yes. After selecting products, use Copy comparison link in the selection bar. The generated URL stores the selected category and SKU values so the same selections can be restored when the link is opened.

Can I print or save the selected comparison?

Yes. Use Print selected in a category or Print all selections in the comparison bar. Your browser can then print the table or save it as a PDF.

How current are the specifications?

The page design, DeviceDeal images and product links were refreshed on 1 September 2026. The technical values were retained from the existing DeviceDeal comparison source rather than independently re-verified during this redesign. Verify project-critical specifications before ordering.
